Bachata Sideways (Bachata S)

Bachata Sideways is a Freestyle & Partnering Dance Technique. Bachata Sideways Basic. The Leader starts to dance 3 steps moving to his left side starting with his left foot. After he taps with his right foot on the 4th count (his weight is on his left foot) the Leader reverses this process by starting to dance 3 steps moving to his right side starting with his right foot. He taps with his left foot on the 8th count (On1). The Follower dances the opposite of the Leader. The Bachata Sideways is used for starting and executing most of the turns and turn patterns used in Bachata Moderna (see "Bachata Moderna") and Bacha(ta)Tango (see "Bachatango").

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
