Back Lead(ing)

Back leading happens when the Follower takes the lead over from the Leader and starts to lead him during Partnering Dance. It's not very common in Salsa. Back leading is only accepted by the Leader if he does not see any problems with it.

Ignacio Piñeiro Martínez

One of the most important composers of Cuban son music. In total he wrote about 327 songs, mostly son. In 1927 he founded the Septeto Nacional (the original name of the music band was Sexteto Nacional de Ignacio Piñeiro, by adding a trumpet it became Septeto Nacional).
