Changui

Changui is a style of Cuban music of the early 19th century which arose in the sugar cane refineries and in the rural communities populated by slaves of the eastern region of Guantánamo Province. It was taken up again by Elio Revé during the 60's. Changui combines the structure and elements of Spain canción and the Spanish guitar with African rhythms and percussion instruments of the Bantu Arara origin.

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
