Closed Dance Position (C)

Closed Dance Position is a Partnering Dance Technique. Dance couple dances with the Leader holding the Follower in a light embrace with his right hand on her left shoulder blade. With his left hand the Leader "carries", "presses against", "hooks with" , or "grabs" the right hand of the Follower. Sometimes the Leader and the Follower have his left and her right underarms also connected to each other (Bachata, Merengue & Son). The Follower rests her whole left arm on the right arm of the Leader.

Online Salsa Dance Formula: L-R: R-Fshoulderblade. If this is done with a little bit of pressure from both the Leader and the Follower they stand together in a so called Dance Frame.
