Conga

The Conga  is a large drum of African origin, very much used in salsa. Mostly appearing in pairs, they are played by a standing conguero who uses his hands to count on them. The term is also used to refer to a Cuban Carnival dance. It is also the name of a salon dance which had its moments of glory during the 30's.

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
