Cuban Turn

The Cuban Turn is a Partnering and Freestyle Dance Technique. A Cuban Turn is a turn using the Son Basic (see 'Son Basic' or 'Quick Quick Slow'). It is performed on the spot with the feet in a 3rd Dance Position (see '3rd Dance Position').

Manolito y su Trabuco was one of the pioneers of Timba music. Their debut album was “Directo al Corazón” in 1995. Manolito Simonet, the band leader of the group, was the musical director and pianist of Maravilla de Florida before he formed the ensemble Trabuco.

Frankie Negrón

Frankie Negron is a salsa singer of Puerto Rican descent. Negrón was born to Puerto Rican immigrants, Francisco Negrón Santos and Zaida Gonzalez.
