Follower (F)

The dancer following the Leader's lead during Partnering Dance. The majority of the Followers are females and will be referred to as "the Lady". But in modern Salsa dancing this is a dance role that's not gender dependant. So many male dancers can (and do) also dance as Followers. But we will refer to the Follower as 'she" or "her" to honor the traditional heritage of Salsa.
