Haircomb (HC)

Haircomb: Styling Dance Element. A Loop the Leader or Follower finishes with one hand by making a gesture of "combing" his or her own hair. The HC is mostly performed by Followers. It's not only done for style, but also to pragmatically avoid and arm or elbow before closing up in a framed position. Also see 'styling".

Advanced definition: Styling Dance Element mostly performed by the Follower. The Leader throws the hand of the Follower gently in the direction of her ear. The Follower strokes her ear with her middle finger, continues to stroke her neck and brings her hand back to her front. The HC is mostly performed on the 1st count (On1).

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
