Half Mambo Right Turn:  Salsa Partnering Dance Technique. Online Salsa Dance Formula: 1/2 RT.

Description for Leaders and for Followers: Starting from the Mambo Basic (see "Mambo Basic"; Leaders start from the 7th count and the Followers start from the 3rd count & in 3rd Dance Position) the Mambo Right Turn is initiated with a Forward (or Front) Break with the left foot (4th Dance Position), then pivot (r), but the next move is not a Forward Walking Turn (r), but a step forward with the left foot (ending in a 3rd Dance Position).

The dancer ends with his or her own back to his or her dance partner. A common way to finish the Half Right Turn is by making Side Break(s). The Leader can lead the Follower in a Half Right Turn to finish in a Cuddle Dance Position. The Leader also use this to turn himself to end with his back to the Follower, or he can follow through with a Cross Body X (see "Cross Body X").

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
