Hammerlock for Followers (FHL)

Hammerlock for Followers: Partnering Dance Technique. A Hammerlock (see 'Hammerlock') executed by a Follower while partnering.

The Leader starts in an Open Dance Position and leads the Follower into a Mambo Right Turn (see 'Mambo Right Turn') with the Left to Right Hand Hold (see 'Hand Holds') up with a Carrying or Pressure Hand Connection (see 'Hand Connections') and the Left to Right Hand Hold with a Pulling Hand Connection down and turning towards her.

The Leader moves a little bit to the left during the second half of his Mambo Basic (See 'Mambo Basic') to give the Follower space to end facing forward. After the Hammerlock the Leader can choose to lead the Follower into a Mambo Left Turn (see 'Mambo Left Turn') or a Cross Body Turn (see Cross Body Turn) to get her out of the Hammerlock.
