Hand Catch (HC)

Hand Catch (HC): Partnering Dance Technique. The Leader asks the hand(s) of the Follower and she plants her hand(s) with a little bit of force or gently on his hand(s). This is mostly done after a Hand Drop or an Arm (Hand) Throw (see 'Arm Throw') and executed on an un-even count (1, 3, 5, or 7th count) (On1).
