Lasso

Partnering Dance Technique. A Cross Body Wrap (see "Cross Body Wrap") with the Right to Left Hand Hold (see "Hand Holds"). After the Wrap the Leader leads the Follower for her to walk back (crossing with her right foot in front of her left foot on 1), he walks to the left and in front of the Follower (and brings the Right to Left Hand Hold above his head) (2).

On the 3rd count he makes a Backwards Walking Turn (l) (see "Backward Walking Turn") and stands again in a CBL position. After the Follower crosses her foot she walks backwards and from left to right making half a circle behind the Leader (2,3). The Leader can choose to lead her again into a CBwrap, or he can finish it by leading her into a CBT (see "Cross Body Turn").

Dancer Of The Week

Sanne Keijzer

Sanne Keijzer
Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
