Mambo Basic from Closed to Open Dance Position: Partnering Dance Technique. Mambo Basic starting in a Closed Dance Position and ending in an Open Dance Position. The Leader strokes with his right hand underneath the left arm of the Follower to maintain contact.

Ignacio Piñeiro Martínez

One of the most important composers of Cuban son music. In total he wrote about 327 songs, mostly son. In 1927 he founded the Septeto Nacional (the original name of the music band was Sexteto Nacional de Ignacio Piñeiro, by adding a trumpet it became Septeto Nacional).
