Outside Turn: A clockwise turn or Right Turn for the Follower during Partnering Dance. This term is used from the point of view of the Leader. But because the starting or leading position of the Leader can change we prefer to only name the turn from the point of view of the Follower executing the turn.
For example: when a Leader does a Cross Body Lead, this has a different point of view to the Follower in comparison to a reversed Cross Body Lead. An Outside Turn for the Follower during a Cross Body Lead becomes an Inside Turn during a reversed Cross Body Lead!
