P'Ajabo/Para Abajo

P'Ajabo/Para Abajo: Cuban and Miami Style Casino, and Rueda de Casino Dance Technique & Call. It means "Get Down". The Leader makes SideBreaks (or Side & Back Breaks) while leading the Follower in a Cumbia Basic in a Closed Dance Position. This call is also used when the Rueda is moving counter clockwise in a Son Basic. Then it means "move backwards" (camina patras). The Leader makes a Front Break with his left foot (1,2,3), and then continues to move backwards with the Son Basic.

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
