Patterns

Patterns: Partnering and Freestyle Dance Term. A Pattern is the total of dance movements performed by a dancer or a dance couple in an x amount of Basics (see 'Basics'). These Patterns are mostly choreographed, but they can also be develloped as a result of Freestyle dancing (see 'Freestyle').

Issac Delgado

Issac Delgado is one of Cuba's biggest salsa stars. Delgado's father was a tailor and his mother an actress and singer. He began studying the cello at the age of 10, but gave it up to join the Escuela de Iniciación Deportiva to focus on another great passion of his, soccer.

Aventura

Aventura is probably the most well known and successful bachata group today. They are known for their unique, fusion style combining traditional bachata music with Hip-hop, R&B and reggaeton.

Raulín Rosendo

The Salsa star - Raulin Rosendo - was born on 30th August 1957, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He later moved to New York City. Rosendo has been steeped in the rhythms of Afro-Antilles music since childhood, which has had a great impact and influence on his musical career.
