Quick Quick Dance Timing. Partnering and Freestyle Dance Technique. The dancers dance alternating their feet and weight on the un-even counts in the music (1, 3, 5, 7 count). The QQ is used for dancing Merengue, Soca, Calypso and Rítmo Combiná among others. The opposite of this is the 'Slow Slow" Basic (SS) alternating dance steps on the 1st and on the 5th count (On1). The latter is the way most people dance (Rock) Ballads.
