Quick Quick Slow (QQS)

Quick Quick Slow Dance Timing. Partnering and Freestyle Dance Technique. The dancers dance alternating their feet and transferring their weight on the feet they step with on the first two counts (1, 2nd count): "Quick Quick". The dancer steps on the 3rd count and also brings his weight on that foot.

But now the dancer slows his or her own body movement down in such a way that the weight transference will be completed after 2 counts (3, 4): 'slow". Then on the 5th count the dancer repeats this process by stepping with the opposite foot he or she started dancing with. The QQS is NOT a QQStop! Mastering the Slow is the secret of maintaining the Flow while dancing Salsa.

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
