Sucu-Sucu

The Sucu-Sucu is a variant of the son invented in la Isla de Pinos at the end of 19th century. The genre is quite similar to the sound of son montuno: a soloist who improvises whilest answering the chorus, which repeats a fixed phrase, accompanied by the instruments.
