Marco Toro is a talented drummer, percussionist, composer, and arranger born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1969. In 1989 Marco Toro formed Laberinto, a Venezuelan rock band known as the creators of the "Metalatino," a unique mix of tight metal and Latin percussion.

Roena was one of the original members of a Puerto Rican salsa music orchestra called El Gran Combo. A member of Fania All-Stars since 1973, Roena is a master Latin percussionist.

Gilberto Santa Rosa is known as ”El Caballero de la Salsa” (The Gentleman of Salsa). His career started as a backup singer of Mario Ortiz Orchestra in 1976. Santa Rosa grew up listening to the salsa of the ’50s and ’60s, strongly influenced by El Gran Combo.
