Azucar Negra

Name:  Azucar Negra

Azucar Negra is a Cuban group, well known for their Timba compositions written by band member and leader Leonel Limonta, a gifted songwriter who has contributed hits for Issac Delgado, Bamboleo, and Paulito FG among others.

Leonel Limonta, Haila Momprié and other musicians left the group called Bamboleo for whom Limonata had composed almost all of the material that was used in their album "Yo no me parezco a nadie".

The group toured the world in 2001 and recorded their first album, "Andar Andando", which not only earned them complements from the press but also the public.
