Charanga Forever is known for its Timba music. Charanga Forever was formed as a result of Charanga Habanera’s separation. The musicians were ready to continue playing the same time they left the Charanga Habanera. The only thing that was missing – besides a replacement for singer Michel Maza - was a name, until they agreed on Charanga Forever.
After various band member changes only a few of the band’s original musicians stayed on: Sombrilla, Polledo and Victor Segarra.
Trivia:
Charanga Forever continued recording a lot of the material that had not been included on "Tremendo Delirio", the Charanga Habanera 1997 record.
