Name: William Omar Landrón (real name: Mariano Grumberg Hollester Jurguensen Smith Mastrodonatto)

Don Omar is one of the best known pioneers of reggaeton. His career started with his debut album “The last Don” in 2003, receiving a platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. Internationally, it has been sold over 1 million copies. In 2007 he received a Latin Billboard Award for the “Reggeaton album of the year” for “King of Kings”.
Landrón is the father of 3 children. He is currently married to Jackie Guerrido. He is also the owner of the All Star Records record label.
In his early years Landrón was a preacher in the local church where he realized his ability for performing. He left church and put this talent into the world of music. Before fame hit him, Landrón produced and wrote songs to “Héctor el Bambino & Tito” which gave him the opportunity to become a co-singer of the song “A la Reconquista”.
He started his solo career with the hit “Desde que Llegó” in 2002.
