Proyecto A is a Venezuelan based group dedicated to playing salsa. The band was formed by the singers Juan Carlos Lobo Cariaco Socrates and Jesus Alberto Ochoa, who were previously lead singers of the famous group Adolescents.

Music Career
Orchestra Project A is the result of the voices of Socrates, Wilmer Lozano Juan Carlos who were offered the opportunity to develop their talent by forming a salsa band.

The band was founded in the middle of 2004 and recorded their first production in 2005 entitled "El Reencuentro". Their 8 track Latin salsa compilation became an instant success, being played regularly on local Venezuelan radio stations. Their audience loved it especially as their production became a potpourri of Venezuelan folklore music mixed with traditional salsa rhythms.

In 2009 Juan Carlos decided to settle in Spain and was replaced by Armando Davalillo, who has given vocal additions to the band.
