Charismatic sonero, unmistakable by his vocal registration and his improvisations, having his own signature tone, Moisés Valle has the quality of assuming on stage all the force required in the contemporary sense of the Cuban popular music. Known as Yumurí, artistic name given by Master Elio Revé, Moisés is coming from a family with a great musical formation. In 1987 he initiates his art professional career and a year later he became part, as singer, of the famous and popular orchestra Elio Revé in which he remained during four years.

After these experiences and having as a premise to wide his artistic projection Yumurí decided to found his own orchestra in September of 1992 together with three of his four musician brothers. Since then and up to now Yumurí and his brothers are dominating the top places of the national radio and television's Hit Parade.

Owner of a proper style to perform Son and Salsa Yumurí has taken his music with great success to Japan, Europe, Mexico, Colombia, Equator, Jamaica and other countries. He has shared the stage with very famous figures like Oscar de León, Tito Puente and his band, Compay Segundo and internationally well-known groups such as La Orquesta de la Luz from Japan, among others.

Due to his great interpreting qualities Yumurí has been invited to participate as a soloist in the Jesus Alemañy´s project CUBANISMO, during the summer's tour in 1997 and also great success in twenty Japanese cities in 1997.

His record production is already covering four albums: Cocodrilo de Agua Salá (1993), Provocación (1996) and Olvidame si puedes (1999). With this last album they manage to reach priviledge places in the Cuban radio and television hit charts and Bilongo (2002) via Bis Music where he achieves his maturity as singer.

Yumurí´s work, as a composer is also remarkable because international figures and orchestras as Oscar D León, Willie Rosario and Los Hermanos Moreno have recorded his musical works.

On 2004 with a heart felt concert at Havana Music House in Galiano, last Friday, February 20, where in adittion to supporting his set Bilongo, Yumurí y sus Hermanos celebrated also Yumurí's twenty anniversary of professional career, this name director was bestowed with different recognitions for his outstanding achievement at Cuban musical scene conferred by Institute of Music, ARTEX, Bis Music, Musicalia and SoyCubano Agency.

Considered by the specialized critic as one of the most remarkable soneros among the Cuban generation of composers and singers, Yumurí is going on his career with undoubted success, in 2003 he was nominated to Grammy Awards due to his participation in ''Tremenda Rumba'' CD by his brother Maracas and his ''Bilongo'' was nominated to Cubadisco Awards, international prestigious event celebrated in Cuba every year.

The promotion around the entire country of the Salsa y Candela CD was the main purpose of Yumuri y sus Hermanos when the 2005 started. Just for this reason they visit outstanding scenes in Ciego de Avila Province, where they were acclaimed by various generations of Cubans who danced and sang with the hit Coge la Botella which is one of the most popular themes of this set.

Also in this year, Yumuri performed an extraordinary concert of over two hours and thirty minutes at the central square from Santa Isabel de las Lajas, honoring one of the major soneros of Cuba, we are talking about Benny Moré, El Bárbaro del Ritmo, in the 42th anniversary of his physical disappearance.

The concert went far beyond any possible expectation, Yumuri started it appreciating the Lajas`public presence which was about 15 thousand expectators. After the early songs the emotion grew up. Children went upstairs to scene and danced but the most unforgettable moment was the exceptional singing of the Benny`s song Santa Isabel de las Lajas, popular theme that fueled him to fame during his years of splendor. As soon as the public listened to the first notes, a magic air reached the place, everybody sang in a giant chorus evincing that such concerts simply embellish the Cuban music.

In 2005 besides presenting a new video clip Coge la Botella, featured for summer season, they also concluded his first DVD for Bis Music.
With a national popularity, giving faith of his talent, and international experience, covering various continents Yumurí y sus hermanos are successing their professional career and making history in the contemporary popular music.
