Celebrity Marc Anthony fears for his life?

The NY Daily news reported that many stars from NY are licensed to carry concealed, loaded weapons. The list of gun-packing celebrities include Robert Deniro, David Wright of the Mets, Martha Stewart's Daughter Alexis, Supermarket Mogul John Catsimatidis, and J.Lo's other half, Marc Anthony.

So, the question we really are wondering: Is New York a safe place for the wealthy and famous like Marc? Either apparently the state that should he and some other famous people are more and more paranoid lately!

Marc Anthony, (born Marco Antonio Muñiz; September 16, 1968), is a Puerto Rican-American musician, singer-songwriter, actor and producer.

In the November 1997, Anthony's more traditional-sounding follow-up, Contra la Corriente, was promoted by a sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden and won the 1999 Grammy for Best Tropical Latin Performance. The album's notable songs include "Y Hubo Alguien", which became his first number-one single on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks Chart and the first by a Salsa musician, "Contra La Corriente", "No Me Conoces", which the video features his then-friend Jennifer Lopez, who he went on to marry in 2004.

We already know a few Celebs from the Big Apple (Howard Stern and Donald Trump) that tote concealed (and licensed) guns, but more and more appear to be making the decision to protect themselves beyond simply hiring a bodyguard or becoming a hermit in their park place mansion.

It is interesting to wonder whether Marc Anthony likes the feeling of cold hard steel in his hand, or has gotten more death threats in the recent past than he cares to ignore. We are not sure if he is bold enough to carry a Magnum or .44, or perhaps he prefers a Saturday night special! Either way, we sure hope these celebs are given some training so they don’t accidentally shoot something (or someone!)

All we can say is, be careful Marc, and don't forget that safety button!

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
