Montreal / Canada – The Montreal Salsa Convention will be organized from Wednesday 14 to Sunday 18 April 2010 in the ‘Maple Leaf City’ Montreal , the capital of Canada. In an ecclectic combination of national and international Salsa Stars, this salsa congress sets out to make a long lasting impression on the hundreds of ‘salseros’ and ‘salseras’ from all over the world who are very eager to take part in their dance workshops and amazing shows.

Albert Torres (one of the masters of ceremony, world’s best known Salsa  Dance Congress organizer and Latin Music promoter), Jhesus Aponte (2 times winner of World Salsa  Championships), and Luis & Anya (the current On2 World Salsa Champions) are among many others responsible for filling 5 days (!) with pure entertainment.

There is a very special line up of 7 top DJ’s, including the famous Henry Knowles, playing the finest Salsa and Mambo’s at the parties.  On Saturday night (17Th of April), the New Yorker Willy Torres (Spanish Harlem Orquestra), featuring Papo Roso’s 10 peace band, will perform live on stage in Metropolis playing songs from his latest album! Lots of people will be rooting for their favorites during the Extreme Salsa Dance Competition being held on Friday night. And the finale of this salsa dance competition will be held on Sunday in the Telus Theatre.
