NEW YORK/U.S.A. – The city of New York will shake at its foundations when the fourth annual Brooklyn Salsa Congress, held from August 20 to 21, 2010. The best Salsa Congress in its class has rapidly gained a reputation of having some of the best dancers of the world and spectacular Salsa performances.
Get The Kids From The Street project
Artistic director Arelis Beato and Tropical Image Inc organize the Brooklyn Salsa Congress with the goal of raising funds to maintain and support the “GKOTS” project, which is a community and family-oriented program helping to keep Brooklyn's youth involved in the arts and to educate them in different cultures via the art of dance. All participants will enjoy the congress even more knowing that they are supporting such a noble cause. The dance classes which the GKOTS project offer to the children are for free or the fee is is kept at the lowest cost in New York.
Salsa Highlights
The great amount of participants – expected to be more than 800 this year – will enjoy the great talents of Amanda Estilo from New York, Edwin Rivera and some of the best known Salsa teams from the New York area. Top DJ's such as JR Salsero, Saoco, Brian on2, El Maestro and Doc Steeve Shaw will play their very best Salsa, Mambo and Bachata for all young and adult participants, performers and business partners during this two days Salsa dance extravaganza. The pre party, after party and two days of show performances will keep everyone on their feet.
Special Request
The Brooklyn Salsa Congress 2010 offers everyone the opportunity to request their special song on the website. It will be played during a set hour each evening of the congress.

The main venue will be the Brooklyn Masonic Temple located at 317 Lafayette Street in Brooklyn, New York.
