August 27 – 29: 5th Brazilian Dance Congress 2010

AMSTERDAM/HOLLAND – The hot and sensual Brazilian Zouk Dance is conquering the world by storm. Brasazouk organizes its fifth edition of the Brazilian Dance Congress between August 27 and 29, 2010 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This wondrous three-day Brazilian Dance loving will feature a plethora of Brazilian dance classes, outstanding workshops, many inspiring dance performances and steamy parties which will surely take the perception, the knowledge and the dance enjoyment of the participants to unprecedented levels. 

Exclusively Brazilian Dance Workshops

The Dutch Brazilian Dance Congress focuses only on Brazilian Dance Styles and Techniques. Local and international Brazilian dance experts such as Larissa Kayanne & Kadu Pires from Brisbane in Australia, Adilio Porto from Amsterdam in the Netherlands and XaviZouk & Laura Español  from Barcelona in Spain join many local and international celebrities to teach Zouk, LambaZouk, Zouk Revolution, Zouk Head Movements and Zouk with 3 dancers. But, Zouk is not the only Brazilian Dance style being taught at the congress: Samba, Samba Pagode, Samba Rock, Samba Axe, Samba de Gaffieira, Forro, Bolero and Zumba are also part of the dance curriculum. And speaking of curricula: the aspiring dance instructors and choreographers will also learn Stretching, Didactic of Dance and  Choreography. The special Musicality workshop will teach all participants to use the music the way it was intended.

Great Parties & Zouk/Lambada Dance Competition   

Claudia and her highly professional Brasazouk team knows how to throw Brazilian parties. The incredible Brazilian dance performances will make the participants watch in awe and scream in ecstasy. During the Gala Party on Saturday night, on August 28 2010, all participants will root for their favorite dancers during the Zouk/Lambada Dance Competition. The winning couple earns 750, the second prize winners 500 and the third prize winners will receive 250 Euros. The hedonistic city of Amsterdam, with all its tourist attractions and entertainment, is THE perfect setting for a steamy hot congress.
