August 6 – 9: 3rd UK-Cuban Salsa Congress, Bournemouth 2010

BOURNEMOUTH/UNITED KINGDOM – The UK-CUBAN Salsa Congress is about to have its take-off starting on August 6 and ending on August 9, 2010. The coastal city of Bournemouth in the UK is the place to be for Salsa dancers to enjoy “Cuban Salsa Without Limits”. The biggest Salsa event of Bournemouth – The UK-CUBAN Salsa Congress – will be held in the historic Pavilion Ballroom in Bournemouth, which is one of UK's favorite seaside and tourist spots.

The UK-Cuban Salsa Congress was voted the 2nd Best UK Large Salsa Congress/ Weekender in 2008 and 2009. 

The Best Cuban Workshops Ever

Some of the best Cuban Salsa instructors from the UK and Europe such as Alberto Valdez and Eloy Leyva from Cuba join a large number of famous Cuban Dance artists such as UK's very own Moe Flex, U-Tribe from France, Frank Santos from the Dominican Republic and others to instruct more than 50 hours of Dance workshops during the day. They will instruct Cuban Salsa, Son, Rueda De Casino, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Reggaeton, Afro-Cuban Orishas, Conga, Pilon, Bachata and Kizomba! As a bonus, the organizers arranged for a Beginner’s Boot Camp program for participants who have never danced Cuban Salsa before.

Shows & Parties with Salsa Band and Havana Club Rum  

The participants of the UK-Cuban Salsa Congress must prepare for three spectacular late night Salsa parties featuring dance shows by Alberto Valdes & Clave Negra, Maykel Fonts, U-Tribe, Osbanis & Anneta, Rayda & Dawes, Rosa Perez, Alicia Bueno Atie, Miguel & Marlene and Davide El Rumberito.  The Salsa band “Clave Negra” will get everyone pumped up and Europe's finest Salsa DJ's El Samuray De Cuba, Joel "Flecha" Verdecia and Javier De La Rosa will play a mix of  100% Kizomba, Bachata, Reggaeton, Cubaton, Merengue & Latin Music in the “Urban Latino Room”, which opens in the Lucullus Room (Pavilion). The Congress After-Party's will be held at “DNA Nightclub” and finish at 7 a.m. There will be a large quantity of Havana Club Rum flowing for the true “rum aficionados”.
