India International Salsa Congress 2010

BANGALORE/INDIA – One of the major Salsa dance celebrations in India – the world famous India International Salsa Congress – will take place for the fifth time between August 13 and 15, 2010. Lourd Vijay and his team arranged for this wonderful event nicknamed “the year's biggest bash” to be everything and more of what the participants can expect.

Salseros and Salseras from over 30 countries will all go to the enigmatic city of Bangalore in India to experience Salsa at its very best. The fifth edition of the India International Salsa Congress has so much to offer, that it will be quite difficult for the participants to choose their favorite activities.

High Level Salsa Dance Workshops for All Levels and Ages

Excellent and world renowned Salsa instructors such as Dave Paris & Zoe Klein from New York, U.S.A., Knzo Mendy from France and Vito Raneiri & Stefania Errede from Italy join many more international and local instructors to teach over 45 workshops in Mixed Styles of Salsa. They will also instruct Specialist workshops for all dance levels. The hundreds of Salseros and Salseras on Foundation level can also follow the eight hour long “Salsa Survival Challenge”. Lourd Vijay and his team also arranged for a Latin Dance Education specially tailored for children.

Special Dance Acts and Salsa Parties


This years edition of the Indian International Salsa Congress has some of the newest and most spectacular Salsa dance acts by international performers and student show teams. Special in the program is the dance extravaganza named “Let There Be Light”. Participants have also the opportunity to dance their socks off at fifteen Salsa parties.

The All India Salsa Amateur and Semi-Professional Championship

Participants can root for their favorite Salsa Dance couples and teams during the elimination rounds and the final of the All India Salsa Amateur and Semi-Professional Championship 2010. The “Funniest Dancer Contest” will be absolutely hilarious.
