For several days now, media outlets all over the web have been reporting about strange rumors and goings on with Eva Longoria Parker, but up until now no one has been able to confirm the stories. Thanks to Twitter, the truth is out, and Eva Longoria Parker was the one to spill the beans.
This afternoon, Eva tweeted the news to the world herself “It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce, we love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness."
Mario Lopez, Eva's good friend, reported earlier today that Eva is devastated about the divorce, but said about his friend "she's strong."
Longoria filed for divorce on Wednesday in Los Angeles, amid reports Tony Parker had cheated on her, however there is no proof of any wrongdoing by the Basketball player.
The couple got engaged in 2006 and married on July 7, 2007. They have no children together.
