Katy Perry has been succeeded by Eva Longoria Parker who s the new host(ess) of this year's MTV Europe Music Awards. The show will be performed in Madrid, Spain later next month, according to MTV Network management.
An incredible collection of performers were announced along with this news about Eva. This announcement included Kings of Leon, Ke$ha, Kid Rock, two-time EMA host Katy Perry and Linkin Park, to name a few. Additional bands and acts will be announced on a later date.
This is one of European Music's biggest events, and Eva couldn't be happier about being chosen to perform and host this incredible night of entertainment.
The Desperate Housewives star said “I am so excited to host the 2010 EMAs in the beautiful and sexy city of Madrid!” Eva also hosted this year's ALMA (American Latino Media Arts) Awards show. “I can’t wait to see some fabulous performances and I am so proud that the two most nominated artists this year are two amazing women — Lady Gaga and Katy Perry — who are making some of the most exciting music in pop right now”, said Eva.
Broadcast live at the Caja Magica in Spain on November 7th, the 17th annual MTV EMAs will surely be a night to remember!
