February 4 – 6: Frankfurt goes Salsa V 2011

FRANKFURT/GERMANY – The fifth edition of the “Frankfurt goes Salsa” international Salsa festival will take place from February 4 until 6, 2011 in the Frankfurt – Germany. The fifth anniversary celebration will have a special program with four days and three nights of pure Salsa!

The city of Frankfurt in Germany is one of Europe's most popular Salsa dance destinations. “Frankfurt goes Salsa V” will have old and new Salsa dance fanatics worldwide traveling to Frankfurt so they can follow more than 90 Salsa workshops given by some of the world's most exciting and highly professional Salsa dance instructors such as Eddie Torres “The Mambo King” from New York (USA), Adrian & Anita from Barcelona (Spain), Super Mario from London (UK), Luis Vazquez and Melissa Fernandez from Los Angeles (USA), Manuel Mascarell from Valencia (Spain) and Jazzy Ruiz from Oslo (Norway) among other local and international Salsa stars. The Salsa teachers will instruct Mixed Styles of Salsa dancing, LA Style Salsa on1, New York Style Mambo on2, Cuban Salsa, Tango, Samba and Hip Hop at Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced dance levels. The workshops will be given on all three days.

Fifth Anniversary Celebration Salsa Parties!

The three parties of Frankfurt goes Salsa V will be held on Friday, February 4, Saturday evening,and the last will take place on Sunday February 6, 2011. All evenings start with spectacular and breathtaking Salsa shows by most of the instructors mentioned above and by some of the world's most renowned Salsa performers in the likes of Hacha y Machete from Boston (USA), Mitchell and Monica from Curacao/Germany and Anne & Anichi from Germany (European Salsa Champions  2007). Seven master Salsa DJ's including DJ Pepe, DJ Jimmy & DJ Roberto from Bolivia and DJ Nestor from Venezuela will spin their best Salsa, Mambo, Reggaeton, Merengue, Bachata and other Latin tunes for all to celebrate Frankfurt goes Salsa V in complete Salsa madness!

Main Venue
The main venue of Frankfurt goes Salsa V will be the beautiful, big and comfortable Congress Park Hanau with it's six workshop rooms, one big event hall for the Gala evenings of circa 1000 square meters, another hall with circa 800 seats for the shows, broad foyers, parquet floors and air conditioning.
