After 17 years of marriage, George Lopez is filing for divorce form his wife Ann. Their daughter is being sought by Ann for primary physical custody, as well as spousal support of the child. There is no official separation date but the papers have been filed under the heading “irreconcilable differences."
A representative of George Lopez said “George and Ann Lopez have made the decision to end their 17-year marriage. The decision is amicable and by mutual agreement. … They remain dedicated parents, and committed partners in business and their philanthropic organization, The Lopez Foundation.”
George Lopez (born April 23, 1961) is an American comedian, actor, and talk show host. He is mostly known for starring in his self-produced ABC sitcom George Lopez. His stand-up comedy examines race and ethnic relations, including the Mexican-American culture. He is currently the host of the late-night talk show Lopez Tonight on TBS.
