July 22 – 25: 2nd Universo Salsero Bachata Weekend

WROCLAW/POLAND – Riccardo and his team “Universo Salsero” welcomes Bachata-crazed dancers from all around the world to attend the second edition of the Universo Salsero Bachata Weekend, starting on Thursday, July 22 and ending on Sunday, July 25, 2010. This sexy and sensual event takes place in the city of Wroclaw in Poland. The special Party Boat trip will make this festival one to always remember.

Poland has a very long tradition of dance, and the temperament & passion of its population rivals those of Latinos. Participants of the Universo Salsero Bachata Weekend will experience this for themselves as they take 2 days of dance workshops and party for 5 nights in a row in the medieval & urban city of Wroclaw. The first edition was a great success, and Riccardo & his team are intended to make this year's Universo Salsero Bachata Weekend even better.

Tantalizing Dance Workshops

World-class Bachata & Zouk Dance instructors such as Frank Santos from Tallinn in Estonia, Marcela Cardenas & Nikola Gutierrez from Stockholm, Sweden, and  Asis from the city of Mons in Belgium join others to teach the participants many hours of workshops on Saturday and Sunday. They will instruct Bachata, Bachatango, Rueda de Bachata, Kizomba, Dancehall and Reggaeton for all dance levels.

Hot Parties & Boat Trip Party

The Universo Salsero Bachata Weekend has some of Eastern Europe's hottest Bachata parties. Bachata is one of the sexiest dance styles in Salsa, and the organizers of the festival have done their very best to arrange venues which are ideally suited for this 5-day long celebration of sensual dancing. The pre party on Thursday will take place in the elegant Cuban club “Casa de la Musica”. The “Welcome Party” held on Friday night in the Theater Versus is preceded by the special and original party on a boat. This Boat trip is an extra option for the participants, and is not included in the full passes. The organizers advice participants wishing to take the boat trip to make their reservation in advance, as the boat has a total capacity of 90 persons. The combination of sight seeing and Latin dance is something unique and unforgettable.

The “Gala Party” - the festival's main party on Saturday – will be held in the “Centrum Kultury Agora”, which is the same location where the 3rd Wroclaw Salsa Festival was organized. A big wooden dance floor for the party, and a professional stage with light for the amazing shows of the artists are ready for the hundreds of participants longing to have a hot & steamy dance experience in Wroclaw. The “Goodbye Party” on Sunday will take place in the same location as last year's successful party: club “Szuflada”. The pre party on Thursday and the Goodbye Party are free of charge. The festival's highly professional DJ's will spin a mix of Bachata, Salsa, Reggaeton and Kizomba music. This special formula guarantees hotter than hot dancing.
