DURHAM/UNITED KINGDOM – Durham & Newcastle Social Events organize their first Salsa festival of the north-east part of England – Danse Salsa Durham – taking place between July 23 and 25, 2010. This 3-day event will blow the minds of all participants enjoying their summer vacations or traveling from all the corners of the world to enjoy this wonderful event.

 

Salsa Workshops from World Renowned Pro's

Danse-events.com will make the university within Collingwood College in Durham the center of the Salsa Dance universe by inviting some very prestigious Salsa Dance instructors such as:

Moe Flex: one of the most inspiring, exciting and entertaining Salsa choreographers on the current international Latin Dance scene,
Rohan Brown: who specialises in LA, Cuban, and 3-some's. He has fluidity, natural body movement, and a positive mental attitude & having loads of fun is what defines his career,
Lee Hunter: voted UK Top Teacher 2007-2008,

and many more..

They will instruct Latin Dance styles such as LA Style Salsa on1, New York StyLe Mambo on2, Rueda de Casino, Cuban Salsa, Bachata, Bachatango, Burlesque, Styling & Musicality, Hip Hop, Cha Cha Cha and more. Together day will instruct over 70 hours of Salsa workshops at Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate & All dance levels.

Salsa Parties with excellent Salsa DJ's

Salsa DJ Lubi – probably one of the most famous Salsa DJ's in the U.K. - will go “mano a mano” with DJ Torqueo whilst spinning their best Salsa, Merengue, Bachata & Reggaeton for the crowd to enjoy for 3 whole nights.

Venue

Collingwood College, located in Durham, is the ideal spot for learning and enjoying Salsa. The venue where all the workshops and parties will take place is all under one roof with ample free, secure on site parking. After the Salsa classes and workshops are finished, the participants can relax in the splendid grounds of the university, and there is also free access to the famous Durham Botanical Gardens & Arboretum just a 2 minute walk away.
