July 29 – August 1: 3rd Annual Cincinnati Salsa Festival 2010

CINCINNATI/USA – The 'sweet and sexy' Cincinnati Salsa Festival will take place in all its splendor between July 29 and August 1, 2010. Participants can expect this third edition to be quite phenomenal.  None other than Tito Puente Jr. and his orchestra will be performing amidst of world-class Salsa Dance stars, bands and the beautiful people of Ohio, U.S.A.

This Salsa Dance extravaganza is one of America's hottest and long waited Latin events. The great success last two years – and the gratitude the participants have bestowed – has inspired the organization to 'boldly go where no Salsa festival has gone before'.

Intense Salsa Workshops and Breathtaking Shows

Melissa Rosado from New York City, Victor Burgos and Gaby Bernal from Mexico and Andy Cruz & Kimberly Rivera from Chicago and New York are some of the highly talented and worldwide acknowledged Salsa Dance instructors teaching Mixed Styles of Salsa during the weekend. They will also attempt to break the record of the Longest Salsa Class for an official entry in the Guiness Book of World Records. The workshops will be held at the Tower Place Mall in Downtown Cincinnati.

The excellent Salsa showcases from Salsa artists will be complemented by the elimination round and the final round of the Tri-State Salsa Championship held consecutively on Friday and Saturday evening.

The Salsa band Tito Puente Jr. and his Orchestra will be one of the main attractions of the festival. Other top Salsa bands such as Tropicoso, Sammy de Leon y su Orquesta and headliner Noel Quintana and his Latin Crew will give the participants of the Cincinnati Salsa Festival lots of opportunities to practice what the have learned and honing their Musicality skills. If this was not enough, the best sought after Salsa DJ's such as DJ Danny D and special guest DJ Efrain Flores – Spinning True Vinyl Salsa Clasica – will get all Salseros and Salseras in a seemingly perpetual Salsa frenzy on the dance floor.
