July 9 – 11: Salsa Beach Festival 2010

SCHEVENINGEN/THE NETHERLANDS – Salsaventura, Holland's largest Salsa Dance franchise, organizes the annual Salsa Beach Festival from Friday, June 9 until Sunday, June 11, 2010. Morry arranged for Holland's best Salsa and Zouk instructors & performers to give tantalizing workshops and dance showcases at the Scheveningen Pier, located on the coast of The Hague, the Netherlands.

Three Days of Dance Workshops

National and international Salsa & Zouk stars such as Robert Charlemagne, the all-time Salsa Master from the U.K., former Dutch Salsa Champions Brian & Mechteld of Salsaddiction Dance Company, Zouk Masters Pasty & Evelyn, international Dutch Salsa stars Tai & Cristel of TC Dance Company and Fabrizio – known for c with Edie the Salsa Freak- and many more will be instructing their hottest dance moves to all participants. The workshops range from Salsa on1 and Mambo on2 to Zouk, Samba, Samba de Gafiera, Kizomba, Neozouk, Musicality, Cuban Salsa, Rueda de Casino, Bachatango, “Brazilian Wake Up” and Men & Ladies Styling. The workshops will be given in all dance levels. Do not miss Robert Charlemagne's “How to Surprise your Dance Partner” or Oliver Pineda & Vali's Spinning Technique workshops.

Heart-throbbing Showcases & Parties

This year's edition of Holland's Salsa Beach Festival has a total of 30+ Salsa and Zouk Dance showcases. Salsa and Zouk professional & amateur Dance Professionals such as Vanessa Mambi's “VIP Dancers”, Brian and Mechteld's “Salsaddiction” team, Oliver Pineda & Vali Damaskou, will entertain the audience with a weekend-long Latin and Brazilian Dance extravaganza.

Ideal Summer Dance Location

For those not wanting to see shows for three evening in a row: no worries. The Salsa DJ's: Willy &  El Chino, and the Zouk DJ's: Manodj, Ellen & Danielle, will be spinning their best Salsa and Zouk music on the ground floor of the multifunctional location named “the Pier of Scheveningen”. The building has 3 large halls, which are converted in high quality dance floors for this special occasion. The monumental structure is located between the sea and the beach. The Pier of Scheveningen is therefore the ideal location for this Salsa and Zouk festival.

The Fifa Worldcup Soccer Final & Salsa Afterparty

The winner of tonight's (July 7, 2010) semifinal football match between Spain and Germany will be facing the 'focused' Orange Legion in the final match for the World Cup on Sunday, June 11. Finding your spot in front of the large screens starts at 20.15 hrs. You can also stay in the hall of Scheveningen Pier's ground floor and dance through the whole game.

The Sunday party will continue as a Salsa after party starting at one o clock in Colombus, located at 200 meters walk from the main venue.
