VILNIUS/LITHUANIA – The International Bachata Festival of Lithuania will have its second edition in the weekend of June 25 until 27, 2010, in the wonderful city of Vilnius in Lithuania. One of the largest Bachata Festivals of Eastern Europe will launch a weekend of passionate Bachata Love starting directly after Vilnius' Feast of St. John.

The first edition of the International Bachata Festival of Lithuania, organized by “Bachata Souls”, was held between September 25 to 27 of 2009 has been a huge success. Lithuania was named the European Capital of Culture in 2009. The organization gained the admiration and respect from other event organizers worldwide because of its professionalism and – of course – the good weather. The second edition will be bigger and better.

Much More than “only” Bachata 

The second International Bachata Festival of Lithuania will not only have Bachata, Rueda de Bachata and Bachatango Dance instruction. Other Latin Dance styles such as Merengue, Reggaeton, Kizomba, Bolero, Zouk, RnB, Flamenco, Hip Hop, and Mixed Styles of Salsa will also be thought by national and international Salsa, Bachata instructors. The program also includes Styling and Dips & Tricks workshops. The dance levels range from absolute Beginners to Advanced. The Bachata Festival is a good opportunity for Beginners to not only learn the basics of the different dance styles, but it also presents a great opportunity to meet other dancers and dance with the Master level instructors.

World Class Latin Instructors & Performers

International Bachata and Salsa artists such as Rodney “Rodchata” Aquino from San Francisco, U.S.A, Kaytee Namgyal & Vanessa Diaz from “Salsa India” in India, and Frank Santos & Alina Moskvina from Tallinn, Estonia are a pick out of the long list teaching a total of 42 Dance workshops. They will also perform their newest Dance routines during the three nights of the Bachata Festival. The performers come from all around the world: Costa Rica, Venezuela, USA, India, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine.

Hot Parties and Jack & Jill Dance Competition

The Hot Bachata & Salsa Parties will be powered by some of the best DJ's: DJ Loco, DJ Dominicano Rubio, DJ Bio, and DJ Carlos Rosas, are some of the master musical MC's spinning their best Latin grooves for all participants to enjoy every evening. The parties last until 05.00 a.m. There is also an Amateur and a Master level “Jack & Jill” Dance Competition. Jack & Jill is the only dance competition in Salsa, which really embodies the freestyle nature of Salsa and Bachata Dance.

Bachata Souls also offer a special package for the participants wishing to travel through Unseen Lithuania after the festival.
