June 4 – 5: 3rd IbizaBaila 2010

IBIZA/SPAIN – On Friday 4 and Saturday 5 of June, 2010 the non-profit organization ‘Adima Ibiza’ will organize its third edition of the IbizaBaila Salsa Congress on the island of Ibiza (Spain). This is the only Salsa Congress in the world, which focuses on teaching and entertaining all persons regardless of their physical conditions, ages, or their physical shortcomings. The motto of IbizaBaila is ‘All of us dance here!’

IbizaBaila offers a lot for to all Salsa Dancers of all Dance Levels, ages, and physical abilities: workshops taught by excellent and professional teachers, shows, competitions and dancing for all regardless of their physical condition. The island of Ibiza (Spain) is an idyllic spot with fabulous beaches and surroundings. International Salsa and Latin Dance Artists such as Fadi (Jordan), ), Ramon Morales & Esther (Brugal Salsa Champions of Spain in 2006), Juan & Paloma (Champions of the Murcia Salsa Open in 2005), & the duo Urban Essence (Dado Martinez: last year’s winner of Europe’s Artistic Dance Competition, and Alicia Broja: Poland’s Ballroom Sport Champion) will be performing their best Salsa Dance Shows.

The professionals will instruct a total of eight hours of Dance Workshops varying from LA Style to Acrobatic Salsa at the IES Sa. Colomina, located at 7 minutes from the Auditorium Can Ventosa. Can Ventosa, where the cast of national and international artists will perform, is located in the centre of Ibiza. The shows will start on Saturday June 5 at 22.00 hrs.   

Adima Ibiza will also have the School for Talent Show (Madrid, Spain) giving a dance workshop and performing for the group of Physically Challenged people. The school is part of the Association of Shared Views. The workshop will be thaught by Ana Cruellas (lead dancer of the musical “Beauty and the Beast”) and Maria Galan. All participants can enjoy their wonderful performance during the shows in the evening. The disco Somni located on the promenade in Figueretas, Ibiza Playa Hotel, will host two nights of social Salsa dancing 

Adima Ibiza, created in January 2008, aims to contribute to the full integration of elderly and disabled persons by helping them to claim their constitutional and fundamental rights. 

All the Salseros and Salseras coming to IbizaBaila will enjoy two nights of social dancing in the disco Somni located on the promenade in Figueretas, Ibiza Playa Hotel, where the international Salsa Dj Plane will spin his best Salsa music.

The trip to the island can be made by air or by sea. There are several airlines such as Iberia, Spanair, Air Europa, Air Berlin, and Vueling flying to Ibiza Island. Ibiza can also be reached by sea with the ferries of the ‘Acciona Balearia’ departing from Denia or from the seaport of Valencia.
