COIMBRA/PORTUGAL – The International Symposium Salsa Portugal takes place from the second time in the Portuguese city of Coimbra from Wednesday June 9 until Sunday June 13, 2010. Some of the world’s best Salsa dancers and performers will entertain all participants during this 5 day Salsa extravaganza.
The International Symposium Salsa Portugal is intended for all persons, regardless of age or dance experience. Beginners and Advanced dance participants all join together to follow Salsa dance workshops given by very professional and internationally famous Salsa and Mambo Dance instructors. Salsa and Mambo Stars such as Eddie Torres & Melissa Rosado from New York (U.S.A.), Johnny Vazquez from Los Angeles (U.S.A.), and Adrian & Anita from Uruguay & Brazil are among the very long list of Salsa dance professionals having the patience, dedication, and excellent teaching skills to instruct in a way for everyone to understand.
The instructors will teach Mixed Styles of Salsa, LA Style Salsa on1, Ney York Style Mambo on2, Cuban and Puerto Rican Style Salsa.
Nuno & Vanda from Lisbon (Portugal), Fadi from Malaga (Spain), and Tropical Gem from Milan (Italy) are some of the dozens of Salsa Artists performing their newest and most exciting Salsa Dance routines for the audience to enjoy. Professional Salsa DJ’s such as DJ Nuno Melo, DJ Susana, and DJ Pablo Bat will spin their finest Salsa, sweetest Mambo and most romantic Bachata for all dancers to sway together all night long. Salsa orquestras ‘Orquesta del Solar’ and ‘Bloque 53’ will play live Salsa, Son, Mambo, Salsa Dura, and many Latin sounds making the participants get into a dance-frenzy. There is also a separate Kizomba Dance congress happening at the same time.
