June 15 – 21: Salsa Splash Spain

CALPE/SPAIN – Robert & Jean White of Mambo City organize a six night Salsa Holiday from June 15 until June 21, 2010. Calp, a city in Alicante (Spain) will be the major stage of this Salsa fun week leading to a highly energized weekend of Master Salsa workshops spread over two days. The hot summer sun, long beach with clear waters, Pool Parties, and great Salsa Workshops are some of the many ingredients Club Dance Holidays has to offer.

Venue

The fun starts when the participants arrival at the four star hotel “AR Diamante Beach Spa” located on the Levante Beach in the town of Calpe, which is a coastal town in Spain's Alicante provence. They will see a beach with long stretches of fine sand and clear waters. When the participants enter the hotel, they will receive an Orientation Pack and a welcome drink. As they walk through the hotel they will be dazzled by its unique architectural style, which is characterized by its spectacular glass facade that lends an impressive source of natural illumination to the carefully designed interior. The hotel's three outdoor pools, surrounded by nice terraces with palm trees, are just a few steps from the seashore.  

Salsa Workshops   

The blazing hot sun and the soothing sea winds will enhance the wonderful surroundings in which the participants follow Salsa dance workshops from international Salsa instructors such as Tony Lara & Dani De Francesco from 'I Love Bachata', London (U.K.), Mambo City's own Robert & Jean, and Mauricio Reyes to name a few. They will be instructing Mixed Styles of Salsa, Salsa LA Style on1, Mambo NY Style on2, Afro Cuban Rumba, Rueda de Casino, Street Dance, and Soca Dance workshops during all these days. The weekend has 24 hours of workshops which are spread over two days. The Salsa Dance teachers will also instruct Salsa classes to the absolute Beginners.

Entertainment

All participants will enjoy the Salsa Pool Parties held every afternoon. There is also a Beach Party on Friday. The The participants can enjoy six nights of 'Salsa Splash Spain Event' choreographed by Robert White of Mambo City and his team of Salseros. These Floor Shows and evening entertainment will get all participants into the right mood for some serious Spanish Salsa madness: Mambo City also organized mid-week visits to Salsa clubs in Alicante. Participants who are more into relaxing and enjoying the surroundings are also taken care of. There is a bilingual Club Dance Holidays Tour Host, they get time to relax and enjoy the beach, pool, and local sights, and there is even an excursion to Valencia.  

The hotel has one of Costa Blanca's locally renowned and best modern Spa, an additional indoor pool with water features as well as Turkish Baths, Sauna, and an array of treatments. The gym and aces to a nearby Golf Course are excellent for the Salseros and Salseras wanting to do other sporting activities besides surfing and snorkeling.

Very important for Salseros and Salseras: dining options include two 'A La Carte' restaurants serving international and local food, a Buffet restaurant, Cafetaria, and Piano bar.
