King of Reggaeton Don Omar launches New Single “Danza Kuduro”

Don Omar, known for his Reggaeton mega hits such as “Pobre Diabla” and “Reggaeton Latino” makes a comeback with his new single “Danza Kuduro”, which will be available for mobile and digital download on August 17, 2010. The Orfanato Music Group/Machete releases Don Omar's new album “Meet The Orphans” this fall.

“Danza Kuduro” is the premiere single from the album “Meet The Orphans”. Fans can already stream the song, which had its premiere yesterday –  Sunday, August 8 -  on Myspace.com.

“Danza Kuduro”, with its spicy Caribbean flavored rhythms, is bound to become an international hit cannon for Don Omar. The song has already become one of Don Omar's long awaited songs because of the participation of Lucenzo, who is a Portuguese artist. The two sneak previews uploaded on Don Omar's Facebook page have already caused a lot of hype in the United States, Puerto Rico and in Latin America. VEVO.com will alleviate some of the fans tension and anticipation by officially premiering the video on August 17. VEVO.com is one of Internets top sites for launching music videos. The video clip was shot in the Caribbean Dutch and French island of St. Martin. The beautiful island scenery make part of the visuals in this video, which will surely help “Danza Kuduro” become one of 2010's most popular Latin songs. The album also features other artists with whom Don Omar collaborated in the recent past. 

“Meet The Orphans” will become available in a regular 15 track CD, a 20 track Deluxe version and a special DVD featuring the video clips to “Hasta Abajo”, “Danza Kuduro” and a special EPK. If this was not enough: Don Omar is also preparing for his acting role in the upcoming action movie “The Fast and The Furious 5” where he will join renowned actors such as Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Paul Walker, Ludacris, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Reggaeton star Tego Calderon.
