GENEVA / SWITZERLAND – The Pour Le Salsa Vintage Festival in Geneva (Switzerland) is the Salsa Dance Congress for all the ‘die hard’ salsa dancers to enjoy on Friday 21 until Sunday 23 of May, 2010. This is the second edition of Geneva’s unique Salsa Dance Congress.

The members of the ‘Association Danse’ have been fortunate to book Salsa Artists of a very high caliber: Juan Matos & Amneriz Martinez (Italy / Spain), Hacha y Machete (USA), and Anne & Anichi (Germany) are some of the top stars teaching and performing to hundreds of Salsa lovers at the splendid Pitoëff Theatre.

On Thursday (20 of May) there will be a special ‘Before Salsa Vintage Festival Party’ at the Montreux Jazz Café between 20.00 and 00.00 hours. At the Friday night party the Salsa band ‘Orquesta La Sucursal’ will play their sweetest live salsa music making the dancers go share their passion for the dance. All the parties will have top DJ’s. And the association has also arranged Salsa After Parties for those dancers who just can’t get enough. The salsa dance shows will be really something out of this world. On Saturday and Sunday there will be more than 20 Salsa Dance Workshops each day. Some of them are tailor suited for all Salsa dance levels, from Beginners to Advanced.

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
