Nobby Solano, the Peruvian international, signed with Hull, and is setting up a Salsa class in Hull City now that he lives in a nearby village. Having played for West Ham United, Newcastle and Aston Villa, he surprised natives when he arrived at the Black Horse Inn to assist them with the Mambo.
Nobby, 35, spoke to some villagers at the East Yorkshire village of Little Weighton. Here is what he had to say: "I have been dancing the salsa since I was five-years-old - it's in my blood.
"It is my favourite kind of music, and when you know the basic steps anybody can dance to it."
In Peru, he played 95 times and joined Newcastle having come from the Argentinian Side Boca Juniors in 1998 for 2.5million pounds. In July of this year he signed to play for Hull.
The Soccer star assisted in leading the class along with salsa teacher Coco Vega. Together, they instructed over thirty people. Amy Jones, a nearby villager, said "It's a great idea." Nobby then said
"I'm not going to swap football for salsa just yet, but maybe in the future."
