Erin Andrews and Nicole Scherzinger are leading the ranks of the American TV hit ‘Dancing With The Stars’ since yesterday, Monday May 24, 2010. Fellow finalist Evan Lysacek finished third in ABC Network’s Latin and Ballroom Dance Competition.

The next and final episode of the program’s 10th season will be one of the most exciting ever.

The figure skater at the Olympic Games earned 52 points out of 60 after his two Dance Routines. Scherzinger and Andrews each ended the show with 55 points in their pockets. This week’s assignment for the Dance Couples was for them to dance a Freestyle Dance and a “Redemption Dance” in a style in which they should have excelled and impress the judges. Fact is they missed both accounts.

The judges rewarded the Redemption Dance of sportcaster Erin dancing together with her dance partner, professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, with the highest score of the evening: 29 out of 30 points.  Maks’ yelling ‘Look at your ass, look at YOUR ASS!’ and the other tips he gave her during the rehearsals to make her Samba sexier paid off ‘big time’. Head judge Len Goodman said, "The improvement from the last time you danced the Samba is fantastic," and proceeded to reward the dance pair with a perfect 10. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who also gave the couple a 10, added, "You moved yourself up three notches," The couple’s Freestyle Routine involved the use of a bed and a sofa as props, and Erin wearing a light flowing nightgown. The three judges gave the couple only 26 points for their Modern Dance despite of all their efforts. Max kept his clothes on this time around.

The Redemption Dance of Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger and her professional dance partner Derek Hough was a Latin Rumba. Judge Carrie Ann came to the rehearsals to advice Nicole to connect more with Derek instead of worrying about her dance steps. The result was a romantic Rumba Dance, which earned them 28 out of 30 points. The perfect 10 of judge did not come as a surprise after him describing the dance as "sensuality and romance seamlessly woven into something of extreme beauty". The highly energetic Freestyle Dance of the couple was good enough to make the crowd go wild, and so did the judges. Both dancers started dancing in matching sequined tuxedos with bright green shoes, but Nicole shed her suit halfway through the routine thus wearing a sparkly green bra and leggings to match. The dance routine had lots of Acrobatics and several dance styles in it, but the lift at the end did not go very well. Despite that, judge Goodman said, "I saw Lindy Hop. I saw Salsa. I saw Quickstep. I saw Jive, I saw fun. I saw entertainment. I saw a fantastic Freestyle."

Dance because you like it and show that. Own the dance. A good student can copy the teacher but a great dancer learns and then makes it her own. So, create your own style and do your thing. And very important: dare to dance!
