Salma Hayek struts her stuff during Paris Fashion week
The hottest ticket in town this week is the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2010 show in Paris. Everyone in the fashion world is eager to see the debut collection from the label’s newest designer, Sarah Burton.
Alongside her husband who co-owns the label, it was no shock to see the voluptuous tinseltown favorite seated in an exclusive place in the front row.
Salma made a grand entrance wearing a black and nude lace mini dress and awesome heels. She was accompanied by her billionaire husband, François-Henri Pinault, to this first collection being shown after the death of British Designer Alexander McQueen back in February. The McQueen label hasn’t had a showing since then out of respect for the fashion designers death.
From the beginning of Paris Fashion week, Hayek and Pinault have made appearances at several events. The Stella McCartney and the Yves Saint Laurent shows on Monday were graced with their presence.
Salma’s husband, Mr. Pinault, 48, is the Chief of PPR, the retail and clothing conglomerate that is owner of some of the biggest names in fashion. The company owns the McQueen brand, 50 percent of the McCartney label, as well as Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga and Sergio Rossi.
