If not movies then dance. Something is sustaining the footfall in the lobby of Inox multiplex. Actually, footwork would be the term more appropriate.

“We are running a 15-day workshop teaching Salsa and the lobby turns into a dancefloor till the first show patrons begin to step in,” says Anuradha, marketing manager of the cineplex. “About 30 boys and girls have enrolled and they are mostly those who have found a fun-filled pastime for summer holidays,” she says, admitting that there the wasn’t the kind of crowd cinemas witness during this time of the year because of the producer-multiplex tussle, but Inox is keeping its commitment to entertain with such activiities.

As for the hip-hop crowd on the floor…they couldn’t have asked for more. Some find in the activity an exercise that keeps them perked up all day, while others look at it as an opportunity to hone dancing skill and enhance the prospects of a dream career. But all of them are partaking of the dollops of fun.
