Salsera Profile - Neha Gambhir

Radiography may be an exciting profession but Neha Gambhir has loftier ambitions in her life; to be a sound expert in ultrasonography and travel around the world, learning, and experiencing people and events. While her career at the Auckland City Hospital keeps her alert and on the move, Neha finds time to face the camera to get her own pictures. She hopes this would take her near and far in realising her secondary ambition of becoming a popular model.

Neha expects to be in Mumbai later this year to try her luck with top modelling agencies and contacts, and possibly step into Bollywood. Dancing is her other passion, which has made her participate in a number of competitions in recent years. She has also been teaching salsa dancing in Auckland. A native of Delhi, Neha was raised and educated in Dubai and New Zealand. Her only sibling is an older brother who is a medical doctor across the Tasman in Sydney. I wish to obtain a postgraduate degree in Ultrasonography and I am planning to have my overseas experience next year, she said. Her love for travel is likely to see her in Australia and Europe. Neha is a practical person who takes life as it comes without a moan. I understand the value of life as I deal with critical patients every day. I like to face challenges in my professional and personal life as these make me a stronger and better person,в she says with confidence.
